Try to get most of your macro-nutrients from whole foods!
Why?
Its better to get nutrients that are closest to their natural form.

Whole foods and their macro-nutrients (Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats) are at their best, when closest to their natural form.  As foods move away from its natural form once it has been modified, e.g. cooked, etc.  This is bad for the foods make up, and often jumbles up the ratio of nutrients in it.
