Squat Video Training Series – Day 4
Hopefully you’re enjoying the Squat Video Training Series from Johnny Mnemonic’s Strength Training Videos. So far we’ve covered Squat Depth, Bar Positioning, Hip and Hamstring Engagement, Engaging the Glutes, and a general introduction to the Squat Technique.
Today’s Squat Rx clips cover some supplemental exercises to help develop your lower back, knees, hips and shoulder stability. These exercises are good for, not just your squat and other compound movements, but also for keeping your body fit and healthy! Nobody wants creaky knees or shoulder pains by the time they’re 30!
Never substitute the health and well-being of your muscle for ‘a few extra pounds’ on the squat. Do your supplemental exercises and those ‘few pounds’ will come along soon enough (With your knees and back intact!).
